Design
The steel structure is designed to DIN 15 018, Lifting Class 2, Loading Group 3 (other ratings available on request). The crane girder and the travel units (end carriages) are connected by high-tensile bolts. The hoist unit travels on the bottom flange of the crane girder.

Travel Drive
Maintenance-free drive units act directly on one travel wheel on each side of the crane, the travel drive, a Demag cylindrical-rotor brake motor, guarantees smooth starting and allows a high number of starts and stops. The travel wheel is of spheroidal graphite cast iron with self-lubricating properties.

Power Supply/Control
The power supply to the travelling hoist unit and the Demag DVS mobile control system are compact conductor line arrangements protected from accidental contact. Trailing cables may also be used, for example, for operation outdoors (special ambient conditions).
